About

Kathy graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design in 2013 with her BFA in Animation, specializing in 2D character animation. She soon after started her career in Atlanta, where she currently resides. She is proud to have had the privilege to work with clients such as Adult Swim, Netflix, Hulu, Cartoon Network LA, FX, and others. Looking back on the decade of her career thus far, she has been grateful for the opportunities awarded that have allowed her to grow in many areas of the animation pipeline, including storyboarding, rigging, and directing. She is currently open to employment and freelance inquiries.

Background

Kathy comes from a suburb of Philadelphia, nestled between urban buzz and the rural countryside. Her quaint hometown heavily influenced the setting of her first short film, "The Suburban Bird," in which she recants the feelings of losing her father to cancer. Someday she hopes to revisit this graduation thesis to give it a feel closer to the original intention. In the meantime, she realizes it probably has not aged well in terms of her growth of skill since 2013!
